Before & After
Have you ever seen before&after images for high-end fashion? The Retouching Portfolio of Corrado Rotondella is definitely worth a look. The portfolio includes some high-end fashion, editorial and advertising work. This is not an ad. I'm simply amazed by Corrado's works.
Digital Photography Community
The best way to get some solid tips and tricks on photography is to join a professional community. I looked through Rob Galbraith Digital Photography Insights and I think these forums are of great value. You can find discussions on professional digital cameras and equipment. Software for both Mac and PC is covered. Discussions on building professional photography web sites, digital slide shows, and electronic portfolios were of great interest for me. I took my time reading a post after a post. I have a feeling that people at this forum are very friendly. I do recommend this resource.
Nighttime Photo Tutorial
Would you like to take some cool nighttime photos, where you only see the lights from cars? Here's a simple tutorial that contains just four steps: Long Exposure Shots.
Stock Photographs
Morguefile.com is worth visiting. It's an archive of high resolution digital stock photographs and reference images for either corporate or public use. Make sure to check the tutorials section. Especially the Composition And Impact tutorial. This is the most beautiful tutorial I've ever read. Also, the site has a very nice community. It will be a pleasure to join it.
Photo Search Engine
Riya is a new photo search engine. What makes it different? It recognizes faces and automatically tags people in photos so that you could find them easily. Riya lets you search your own photos. I think the idea is interesting.
